Used in Ayurveda medicine to destroy toxins in the body. Barberry is a bitter tonic used specifically for cleansing the liver and regulating its function. Moreover, it can be used as a medicinal herb to treat a variety of disorders, such as diabetes, liver disease, gallbladder pain, digestive, urinary tract diseases, and gallstones.
