When I bought it - for my wife - I didn't realize it was bulk tea. I think if it was in tea bags she would be more likely to take it. But we did get a tea ball and she used it a couple of times, and there might be issues beyond bulk. But you've given us a hint. She takes golden seal in capsule form, and just started drinking mullein tea. As for overall effectiveness of the product I can't say.
